Our Current Job Listings
We have done a lot of research when it comes to writing good job ads – we’ve looked at the biggest and best companies, made lists and job descriptions. But we think we’ve been missing the mark.
It turns out that we’re not just looking for a list of qualifications or attributes. We are looking for honest, hard working, personable people to go to our customers’ homes and provide great quality carpet, furniture & area rug cleaning. There is some “selling” involved – that is, identifying customer needs for our other services and products, and then telling them about what we offer – for example, telling them about furniture cleaning when they have a carpet cleaning appointment, or explaining the benefits and value of Scotchgard™ fabric protector or deodorizer.
In return, we pay a good, living wage and provide a respectful work atmosphere where we strive to treat our people and customers how we’d like to be treated.
We do have a few qualifications that we need to review – you must be physically able to do the job (requires up to 50 lb of lifting as well as lots of standing), have a valid drivers’ license, provide a drivers abstract and be bondable, and be able to fill out customer invoices (clear writing & basic math). Most importantly, you must have a great attitude and enjoy working with people!
If this sounds like the kind of job that you’re looking for, please send your resume today!
Nation Wide Carpet Cleaning – Victoria
$11+/ Hr – PT 16 – 20 Hrs/Wk – Students Welcome!
There are a lot of job ads on the internet, and a lot of them seem to be looking for the same kind of people that we are: motivated, results driven, self-managing individuals.
So we decided to try something a little different. No lists of roles, and qualifications. We just want to honestly tell you what we do here, and what kind of people we are.
We have a small office that books appointments for our carpet cleaning business. Some of the customers call our office, but we also get a lot of appointments by calling people to tell them about our services (outbound calling/telemarketing). We do not call during the dinner hour, and we do not use robotic messages or deceptive, too good to be true “deals”.
We work off some phone number lists (but we do not call people on the do not call list), and we also call people who have used us before to remind them when their cleaning is due. We focus on building relationships with people, and being available to book their cleaning appointment in whatever way is most convenient for them.
Who we are is – honest, hardworking, outgoing people who care about our families, our co-workers and our customers. We believe that our company provides great service at a great value, and we enjoy coming to work.
If what we do sounds good, and we’re the kind of people you’d like to work with, please call me (Peter) today!
